This is the most exquisite hand made white silk peignoir robe I have ever seen. The silk is tissue thin, like parachute silk with the neatest hand stitched gathering at the waist to create the wonderful billowing movement. This is a perfect robe for a bridal trousseau or vampire, it's so floaty yet sumptuous and basically gorgeous. At the collar yolk and cuffs is white lace trim.

This is a difficult one to date because of the quality and hand stitching. The silk is sublime and everything about it is sublime. I would say it's definitely pre 70s, I initially considered it was much older, but as I say there are no labels or significant dating factors.
